Through a continued partnership, Child Advocates of Silicon Valley teams up with Veggielution to host a vibrant day of outdoor exploration for foster youth and their Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Volunteers. Together youth and CASAs can participate in a new experience, spending the day immersed in nature under sunny skies, sampling fresh fruits and vegetables straight from the garden, getting creative with hands-on art, and slowing down with mindful gardening activities.
The purpose of these events are to support foster youth by immersing them in nature, engaging them in mindfulness activities and fostering supportive relationships with their peers and CASA Volunteers. Through hands-on activities and the support of our CASA Volunteers, our youth were able to create positive, fun memories.
Our days at Veggielution are made possible thanks to the dedication of our community partner, Veggielution, along with their staff and volunteers. Through these collaborative efforts, we can continue to offer our foster youth enriching and positive experiences.
