for foster youth
At any given time, there are about 1,000 children in the Santa Clara County foster care system.
Every one of these children has experienced trauma in the form of abuse, neglect and/or abandonment.
Every one of these children deserves to have a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Volunteer.
You can have an impact
“One of the things I wanted to do for myself was graduate high school and my CASA made sure I succeeded. When the big day finally came, she sat proudly in the audience.”
– Jessica, former foster youth
“Having a CASA Volunteer, even for just a short time goes such a long way in helping a foster child.”
– Susan Lato, CASA Volunteer
“Don’t second guess yourself and think you might not be qualified to be a great CASA. There are so many foster children waiting for someone who can be a positive influence in their life.”
– Dan Ahmadi, CASA Volunteer
