Step back in time with Radio Gatsby! Experience the glitz and glamor of the 1920s as you enjoy vintage classics straight from the Jazz Age. Then get ready to turn up the dial as the band transports you through 100 years of music. From swing to Motown, disco to pop, you’re in for a night of rip-roaring fun!

Keynote Speaker

Child Advocates is honored to have Angelina Rodriguez as our keynote speaker at our inaugural Black, White & Pink Ball. Growing up and experiencing domestic violence, foster care, and an incarcerated father left Angelina feeling like she had few paths to walk down. After losing her foster brother to street violence and the birth of a younger sister, she decided to move forward towards a different track despite many statistics and risk factors.

About Child Advocates
of Silicon Valley

At any given time, there are approximately 650 children in the Santa Clara County Dependency Court System, more commonly referred to as “foster care.” Child Advocates of Silicon Valley serves these children by providing trained, dedicated volunteers to act as advocates at dependency court hearings and serve as consistent role models and mentors.

Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Volunteers offer a constant adult presence, and their work helps reduce the impact of trauma caused by experiences of abuse, neglect, and abandonment. They work with legal professionals, educators, service providers, and family members to ensure every foster youth’s voice is heard. Child Advocates recruits, trains, and supports Silicon Valley CASA Volunteers, ensuring every foster child has the nurturing support and resources they need to thrive.
