Event: Passion, Fashion & Everything Bold

Event Highlights:
More than 120 of Silicon Valley’s most fashionable community members SHOWED UP for Child Advocates, supporting Santa Clara County’s foster youth at the 4th annual Passion, Fashion & Everything Bold event. Guests arrived dressed in their boldest pink attire to experience their favorite fashion event in San Jose and together raised more than $110,000!
The Signia by Hilton in San Jose provided the perfect backdrop for a wide array of event offerings, all spread across one floor. With drinks in hand, guests shopped for a cause at an exclusive vendor marketplace where a portion of all sales was donated back to Child Advocates.
The marketplace featured clothing and accessories from local, primarily women-owned businesses, including:

Guests also participated in a variety of raffles with opportunities to win fine wine, party packs, a stunning diamond necklace from Vardy’s Jewelers and more. Once the shopping concluded, it was time to move to brunch, where guests were welcomed to their seats with goodie bags that included skincare, makeup and a $100 gift certificate to Swan Medical, a spa in Los Gatos.
The program featured a fall fashion competition between guests, where a winner with the boldest look was chosen by the audience, and various opportunities to continue giving in support of our youth.
Later in the program, former CASA Volunteer, Dora Beyer took the stage to speak about her experience as a CASA Volunteer and the impact she made on her former foster youth. She shared the importance of being there for Santa Clara County’s most vulnerable population. Although Dora’s youth has since aged out of the foster care system, the two remain in close contact. Dora continues to SHOW UP for her, proving that the bond between a CASA and their youth often extends far beyond the program.
