Child Advocates of Silicon Valley Annunces the Appointment of a New Board Member

MILPITAS, CA — Child Advocates of Silicon Valley is pleased to announce the appointment of a new board member, Dhaval Moogimane, a Global Industry Leader at West Monroe, effective September 24, 2025. 

“I’m thrilled to join the Child Advocates of Silicon Valley Board,” said Dhaval Moogimane. “I’m deeply passionate about its mission and inspired by the leadership and team’s ability to make a meaningful, lasting impact on children’s lives.”

Dhaval’s extensive experience in business will support the agency’s strategic planning and organizational growth. His expertise will help Child Advocates develop and implement innovative strategies to increase giving and fundraising efforts to strengthen the agency’s operation.

Child Advocates has a diverse, active board that represents a range of professional expertise in technology, child welfare, law, business planning, accounting and fundraising. It is the board’s responsibility to provide counsel and oversight in the direction and operation of Child Advocates as well as raise awareness of our CASA Program to help recruit potential volunteers and donors. 

About Dhaval Moogimane

Dhaval Moogimane is an experienced business leader with over 25 years in consulting and business operations, specializing in helping companies and investors achieve profitable growth and transformation. Over the course of his career, he has delivered more than $1 billion in value creation for clients through growth strategies, operational improvements and large-scale transformations. He currently leads West Monroe’s High-tech Industry, driving growth across private equity portfolio companies and global enterprises. Previously, Dhaval co-led Waterstone Management Group, guiding its expansion and successful acquisition by West Monroe. Earlier in his career, he was part of IBM Global Services, where he spearheaded major strategy and operational programs that enabled Fortune 500 clients to scale more efficiently and profitably. Beyond his professional work, Dhaval is committed to mentoring future leaders and supporting mission-driven organizations. He holds an MBA from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Engineering from Bombay University.

Child Advocates of Silicon Valley is an independent nonprofit 501(c) 3 organization created in 1986. We serve children aged birth to 21 years old who are placed in the Santa Clara County Dependency Court System for having experienced trauma in the form of abuse, neglect and/or abandonment. We are responsible for operating the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Program in Santa Clara County, which entails recruiting, training and supporting CASA Volunteers according to the National CASA Association standards.
