Event: A Day at Happy Hollow

On Saturday, February 22, our youth enjoyed a day of exploration at Happy Hollow Park & Zoo with their CASA Volunteer thanks to the generosity and our continued partnership with Happy Hollow Foundation. Read below to see what a day at Happy Hollow looks like for our attendees.
Attendees were excited to see and interact with a variety of animals, such as goats, parrots, capybaras, lemurs and more. Access to nature supports our youth’s ability to stay curious, release stress and learn more about the natural world.
The most popular attraction in the park for our youth is the Pacific Fruit Express. This exhilarating roller coaster had our youth lining up for multiple rides, their excitement growing with each turn. Throughout the ride, our youth bonded with their CASAs, strengthening their sense of community and belonging.
Besides having a day filled with adventure, exploration, and fun, youth and their CASAs were able to refuel their bodies, thanks to the meal coupon to Picnic Basket provided by Happy Hollow Foundation.
