Over 50 children and youth along with their Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Volunteers celebrated the holiday cheer with us during our Child Advocates of Silicon Valley’s Holiday Party. The immersive holiday event took place at Brookside Club of Saratoga on Saturday, December 11, 2021.
The venue was transformed with holly, lights, whimsical balloon arrangements, stockings and poinsettias for an afternoon full of holiday magic. Upon registration, our CASAs and youth were given a candy cane bag filled with tools to participate in the holiday-inspired activities planned for them. Activities included building ornaments, designing t-shirts and drafting letters to Santa Claus.
During mid-event, a snow cone truck pulled up through the back of the venue. To our youth and CASAs’ surprise, the driver was none other than Santa Claus. Greeting each child by name, Santa served the youth and their CASAs a snow cone or hot cocoa.
The event concluded with a catered lunch and the youth picking up their holiday gift bag from Child Advocates.
This event was made possible by the generosity of Bay 101 Casino and Milpitas Charity Bingo. As well as Am Designs for donating the balloon arrangements and event decor.
